We saw sheep everywhere. The group of people that put identifying dye marks on sheep are the, "Abs". They are not allowed to drink any alcoholic beverages, hence the term, "Abstainers"

CURRACH - a light weight Irish sea going boat made of a wooden frame covered by a canvas skin that has been tarred to make it waterproof. We were told that Irish fishermen purposely don't learn to swim as it would only prolong the agony if they fell into the water or sank, an all to frequent event with this type of boat.
